Let's start building:

Once the big box arrived from All American Kit Cutters, ensure all parts are there. My kit was missing some aileron ribs which were shipped promptly to me without me even asking.  Here's the box, after it survived Canadian Customs. I also removed the packing material btw:


  


One mistake I found is that the Elevator skins set were only cut for the top part. The bottom part needed to be cut separately. No biggie..

   

Make an inventory of all parts and proudly display all the parts on your bench. Hey, this goes into building a plane? A miracle....

I did buy some extra wood from my trusty local hobby store,  Hobby Hobby, arguably the best around Toronto. Just the usual stuff, some 1/16", 3/32" and some sticks. I'm sure I'd have to run back and forth to the store a couple of times during the course of this project.
