In order to satisfy my "build quickly" and with quality, I've spent some time searching for a good scale model that I could finish in 3 months. So after much consideration, I've decided to do a 1/12 scale FW-190D9. Hey, I like Kurt Tank's design...
I've settled on a Waverly R/C model, due to the high fabrication of the model. I can then focus on the Engine and landing gear for this model (the hard part) and get it finished. My goal: 4 months from start to finish. Can I? We will see. But, but, but.. There's also the Top Flite model. Hmmm, maybe some Century Jet Retracts or Spring-air with the new RCV 120-SP engine.. Choices we have to make... |
